Butter Chicken

The bustling streets of Delhi whisper tales of the creation of Butter Chicken. A delightful concoction, this dish is a blend of creamy tomato sauce enveloping tender chicken pieces, marinated in aromatic spices. The Tandoor oven, an integral part of North Indian kitchens, gives the chicken a distinct charred flavor. Dive into the richness of Indian cuisine with every bite. With Peyala’s parent company MGH Group being present in New Delhi for over two decades, it was a no-brainer to put this global favorite into a wrap.

Chittagonian Beef Bhuna

Hailing from Chittagong, this beef dish encapsulates the fiery spirit of Bangladeshi cuisine. This firecracker of a dish is usually eaten during Mezbans (large gatherings during various occasions), originating from Chattogram. Slow-cooked beef marinated in a robust blend of spices becomes melt-in-mouth tender. The punch of green chillies and the unique aroma of mustard oil elevate this dish, making it a culinary journey to the heart of Bangladesh.

Jamaican Jerk Chicken

Jerk Chicken is a symphony of flavors from the sandy shores of Jamaica. We had travelled and stopped by Jamaica, while on a cruise. During the stopover, we had got to try absolutely authentic smokey, spicy marinated in a hot mixture called jerk blend, its signature lies in its smokiness. This technique, combined with its robust marinade, encapsulates the vibrant spirit of Jamaican feasts.

yakitori

Yakitori Chicken

An Izakaya favorite, Yakitori Chicken is Japan's answer to skewered delights. Tender bits of chicken, marinated and skewered, get grilled to perfection over charcoal. The repetitive brushing of the sweet-savory tare sauce during grilling results in a caramelized exterior. A bite into Yakitori is a glimpse into Japanese nightlife and culinary simplicity.

Lahori Chicken Karahi

Lahore, a city of vibrant cultures and flavors, gifts us the spicy Chicken Karahi. Named after the 'karahi' or wok it's cooked in, this dish is a tomato-based gravy, rich with spices, ginger, and garlic. The swift high-heat cooking keeps the chicken tender while infusing it with the intense flavors of Pakistan.

sticky

Sticky Toffee Pudding

Britain's beloved dessert, Sticky Toffee Pudding, is the epitome of sweet comforts. A moist date sponge cake drenched in luscious toffee sauce. What had become a family dessert for some of our colleagues, had to be recreated at our test kitchen and immediately placed on our menu as the team gave raving feedback.
